General Refund Policy
Freshly Baked Goods: Due to the perishable nature of our products, refunds or exchanges are generally not offered unless there is a clear quality issue or the order was incorrect.
Errors: If the product received does not match your order, please contact us within 24 hours. We will offer a replacement, store credit, or refund.
Quality Issues: For quality concerns (e.g., underbaked or stale items), contact us within 24 hours with proof of purchase and a photo. We will investigate and offer a refund or replacement as deemed appropriate.
Custom Orders
Cancellation Policy: Custom orders must be canceled at least 4 days in advance for a full refund. Cancellations within 4 days may not be eligible for a refund.
Non-Refundable Deposit: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required for all custom orders. This deposit is applied to the final balance.
Custom Cake Complaints: Any issue with a custom cake must be reported within 24 hours of delivery or pick-up. A refund or partial credit may be offered based on the situation.
Non-Refundable Items
Gift cards, sale items, and promotional products are non-refundable.
Items that have been tampered with, damaged, or partially consumed cannot be refunded.
Refund Process
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5 business days. Credit card refunds may take longer depending on the bank or credit card company.

Photography Release
By purchasing from K’s Cakery Bakery Cafe, you grant permission to use photographs of our products for marketing, advertising, and promotional purposes, including but not limited to website galleries, social media, and print. No compensation will be provided for the use of these images.
To opt-out of having photographs of your custom order used in promotional materials, please notify us in writing before placing your order.
Orders Under $65
Full payment is required at the time of order placement. Payment must be received before the pick-up date to confirm the order.
Orders Over $65
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your order. The remaining balance is due upon pick-up or delivery.
Payment Methods
Payment options will be provided at checkout, and payment must be completed by the pick-up or delivery date.
Placing an Order
Online Orders: Orders can be placed through our website. Allow at least 4 days’ notice for standard cakes and 2 weeks for custom cakes.
Order Confirmation: A confirmation email will be sent after the order is placed. If you don’t receive an email within 24 hours, contact us at kscakerybc@gmail.com or (340) 474-1399.
Custom Cake Orders
Provide detailed information for custom cake designs, including inspiration, flavors, and dietary requirements. We will confirm all details before proceeding.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required for orders over $65.
Changes to Orders
Changes must be made at least 3 days before the pick-up or delivery date. Additional fees may apply for changes to custom designs.
Cancellations
Cancellations must be made at least 4 days in advance for a full refund. Orders canceled after this period may forfeit their deposit.
Pick-Up and Delivery
Pick-Up: Available during business hours. Ensure your selected pick-up time is accurate.
Delivery: Available for an additional fee and must be scheduled at least 3 days in advance.

Design & Creative Control
We strive to meet design requests but slight variations may occur due to the handmade nature of the product. By placing an order, you grant K’s Cakery Bakery Cafe creative discretion.
Storage & Consumption
Store cakes in a cool place and consume within 3-5 days. Cakes with perishable fillings or frostings should be refrigerated.
Photography and Promotion
By placing an order, you agree to the Photography Release policy, allowing K’s Cakery Bakery Cafe to use images of your cakes for promotional purposes unless otherwise specified.
Delivery Liability
K’s Cakery Bakery Cafe is not responsible for damages once a cake is picked up or delivered. Ensure safe transportation and storage.
1. How far in advance should I place my cake order?
- For standard cakes, we recommend placing your order at least 3 days in advance. Custom cakes require a minimum of 1 week notice, but it's always best to order as early as possible to secure your date.
2. Do you offer same-day or rush orders?
- Rush orders are accepted on a case-by-case basis and may incur an additional fee. Please contact us directly at 340-474-1399/kscakerybc@gmail.com to inquire about availability.
3. What payment methods do you accept?
- We accept credit cards, Visa, and PayPal (kscakerybc; to family and friends), through our online ordering system. For in-store payments, we accept cash and card.
4. Is a deposit required for cake orders?
- Yes, for orders over $65, we require a 50% deposit to confirm the order. Orders under $65 must be paid in full when placing the order. The balance is due upon pick-up or before delivery.
5. Can I make changes to my order after it’s been placed?
- Changes can be made up to 3 days before the scheduled pick-up or delivery date. Please note that changes to custom cakes may affect the timeline and cost.
6. Do you deliver cakes?
- Yes, we offer delivery in town for a fee of $5 and a fee in the country for a fee of $10. Please select the delivery option during checkout or contact us for details.
7. What should I do if I have a food allergy?
- While we take precautions to avoid cross-contamination, our kitchen handles common allergens, including nuts, gluten, dairy, and eggs. If you have a specific allergy, please notify us when placing your order, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
8. How should I store my cake?
- We recommend storing your cake in a cool, dry place. If your cake contains perishable ingredients (such as cream fillings), it should be refrigerated. Cakes are best consumed within 5 days of pick-up or delivery.
9. Can I customize the design of my cake?
- Absolutely! We love creating custom designs. Please provide us with as much detail as possible when placing your order, including any inspiration images, colors, themes, and flavors. Custom cake orders should be placed at least 1 week in advance.
10. What happens if I need to cancel my order?

- Yes, we offer cake tastings for weddings and large events. Please contact us at least 2 weeks in advance to schedule a tasting appointment.
13. Do you ship cakes?
- At this time, we do not offer shipping for cakes due to their delicate nature. However, we do offer local delivery and pick-up options.
14. What should I do if there’s an issue with my order?
- If there’s any issue with your order, please contact us within **24 hours** of pick-up or delivery. We will work with you to resolve any problems as quickly as possible.
15. Can I opt out of having my cake photo used for promotional purposes?
- Yes, if you do not want a photo of your cake used for marketing or promotional purposes, please notify us when placing your order.
